Touring Caravans

When did you last have your caravan serviced?

As a 'vehicle' that is towed on the highways, it is mandatory from a legal point of view that touring caravans are roadworthy, for not only your safety but that of other road users too.

However, many caravans haven't been serviced since their manufacture and this is the reason that many roadside checks are carried out by the police every year. Faults on critical items such as brakes and lights are routinely found - leaving you open to penalties and fines.

Then there are the internal supply systems of the caravan to consider. Stresses imposed by towing mean that gas and electrical systems are so much more prone to faults so need checking and servicing regularly. This is not only to ensure that individual appliances work during your leisure time, but are safe for you and family also.

Key elements of the touring caravan service include;

  • Chassis and running gear - brakes, tyres, lights etc
  • Gas system safety  check and appliance servicing
  • Electrical system safety check
  • Ventilation check and clean
  • Water system check and flush
  • Body work inspection
  • Fire safety inspection and advice

A full valet service for upholstery is also available.

I service all makes and models of single and twin axle caravans. Please call for prices.
